Ask in plain language. ShopMCP searches every connected retailer, identifies identical products, compares real totals including shipping, and explains the best deal — without ever inventing a price.
Press “Run live search” — this calls the ShopMCP backend, queries every connector in parallel and matches identical products.
From a sentence to a verified, explained recommendation.
Your natural-language request becomes structured intent: product, budget, country, condition, GTIN.
Official retailer APIs and merchant-authorised stores are queried in parallel with timeouts, retries and rate limits.
GTIN, brand + model, MPN and specs decide identity. Different storage, size, colour or condition are never merged.
Cheapest, best overall value, fastest verified delivery and top-rated seller — with the reasoning and every missing field called out.
Modular connectors on a common interface. Status below is read live from the backend — real mode, not marketing.
Official APIs, merchant-authorised connections and permitted affiliate feeds only. No scraping.
Vague request? It asks for brand, model, storage or budget instead of guessing.
Shows exactly why listings are exact, high-confidence or merely similar.
Missing price, stock, shipping or ratings are marked unavailable. Demo fixtures are always labelled.
Checkout needs your explicit confirmation — twice: in chat and on the payment screen.
A remote MCP server over HTTPS (Streamable HTTP) built with the official Python SDK. Bearer API keys, per-key rate limits, audit logs and validated JSON schemas on every tool.

Amount recomputed from the database. The browser's total is never trusted.

Backend captures and verifies order id, amount, currency and reference.
Signature-verified, idempotent events as a second source of truth.
Order and receipt shown only after PayPal confirms capture.
PayPal Sandbox demonstrates a purchase from the ShopMCP demo merchant only. It does not pay unrelated retailers on your behalf — external marketplaces use their own authorised checkout.
Built so judges — and real users — can trust what they see.
Retailer & PayPal credentials are encrypted at rest and never reach the browser.
Supabase RLS on every table; users only read their own records.
Only SHA-256 hashes are stored; keys are revocable and rate limited.
Request ids, unique constraints and verified webhooks prevent double charges.
No purchase without an explicit confirmation. No automatic payments.
Every MCP tool call, admin change and payment event is logged.

No. PayPal Sandbox demonstrates a payment to the ShopMCP demo merchant only. For external marketplaces you are redirected to the retailer's own authorised checkout.
Prices come from retailer APIs when credentials are configured (status shown per connector). Without credentials, connectors fall back to clearly labelled demo fixtures that cannot be purchased.
Deterministically: identical GTIN/UPC/EAN, then brand + model number, manufacturer part number, title similarity and specifications. AI only explains the verdict; it never creates identity.
Searches, wishlist, orders and payment records live in your Supabase project behind Row Level Security. Retailer and PayPal secrets stay on the backend, encrypted at rest.
Yes. Create an API key in the dashboard and connect the remote MCP server over HTTPS. Ten tools are exposed with validated schemas, auth, rate limits and audit logs.
Only what ShopMCP has actually observed. If there are fewer than two observations, the chart says so rather than drawing a trend.
